Pricing
Three bands, in euro, before VAT and before the cost of sending the sample. They are a range for a first conversation, not a quote. The figure is confirmed in a short scoping note before work starts.
Fee bands
-
Basic assessment
€400–800The full catalogue on one product and its ecosystem, plus the three deliverables. Suited to a straightforward device with one app and, if it has one, a single hub.
-
Extended review
€1,000–2,000The same catalogue with more time on communication security, network destinations, update behaviour, and supplier documents. Suited to a busier ecosystem, or to a sourcing decision rather than an internal engineering check.
-
Retest
€200–500A shorter run of the failed or inconclusive cases you have remediated, with an updated summary. Not a new full assessment.
A retest covers the failed or inconclusive cases named in the agreement. It does not reopen the whole catalogue unless the product or the ecosystem has changed enough that the old scope no longer describes it.
Between basic and extended
What usually moves the fee
- How many apps or hubs are part of ordinary use.
- Whether the cloud path is something the lab can observe from the test setup.
- How much supplier documentation has to be read for the lifecycle cases.
- Whether the report is an engineering check or a supplier-qualification decision.
Not included
What these fees do not buy
- VAT, and shipping the sample to the lab.
- Travel.
- Destructive testing.
- Radio performance or electrical safety work.
- Source-code review, or a full firmware extraction.
- A legal opinion, or any conformity assessment.

Ask for a scoping note
Send the product type and the decision you need to make — ship, source, or deploy. The reply states which band applies, what is out of scope, and the fee before any testing starts.
